Content

  • Overview of the architecture, the components that make up the system. System changes and the rollout of changes are discussed in more detail.
  • Learn what possibilities Visual Studio offers for adjusting the system. Concepts that will be discussed include build, synchronization, code comparison, debugging and version management.
  • Build different types of forms. The forms use components that may or may not be linked to internal / external data. A diagram can be used to visualize data.
  • In the definition tree (AOT) several new elements are created. Each element has an application and is Microsoft guidelines (Best Practices) created.
  • Write and test X ++ code. A logical error in code is easily made, just like wrong input from the end user. Make use of the test framework and thus make the solution more robust.
  • Develop advanced object-oriented X ++ code. Think of: inheritance, "attribute classes" or "chain of commands".
  • Explore the reporting options: SSRS, Power BI and Excel.
  • Create your own workspace, or modify an existing workspace.
  • Exchange data via data management. Elaborate import / export scenarios using data entities and services (OData and RESTful APIs).
  • Gain insight into the overall security and create the necessary security elements.
