Target Group
This workshop is intended for anyone who is going to work with finances in Microsoft Dynamics without having any financial background on any level. This workshop explains the basic bookkeeping principles as a preparation for financial Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft Dynamics NAV courses.

Description
This is a system independent workshop for non-financial people, which starts with a basic overview explaining the ERP concept and the place of Finance within the Business Control Model. Participants will be introduced to financial terminology such as General Ledger, Ledger accounts, Balance sheet, Profit & Loss statement, etc.

They will also learn to set up and update their own administration on paper, using journal voucher transactions and based on the events during a game. This will gain insight into how and why certain procedure steps in a business environment may need a follow up in Finance.

This is  basic, but very important, knowledge for any ERP user, regardless their personal use of a Financial module in Microsoft Dynamics.
