Target group
Application controllers and/or core users that are responsible for the adjusting of layouts of existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV reports. In this course the Report Builder is used for maintenance of RDLC layouts and Word for Word layouts.

Description
Modifying report layouts in NAV, is this always possible?
How do you adjust the layout?
How can you add headers and footers?
Grouping in NAV reports, creating (sub-)totals, how does it work?
And collapse and expand groups, how can you do this?
These subjects will be discussed in the course “Report layout in RDLC and Word”. Lists and documents in Microsoft Dynamics NAV contain a layout in RDLC format and sometimes in Word format. The standard layout can be modified from the normal client. An application controller can perform adjustments (with limitations) to the layout of existing reports by using Report Builder or Word.

In this course the possibilities of adjustments in layout in Report Builder and Microsoft Word are practiced.

Prerequisites
The course Microsoft Dynamics NAV Introduction (N18-INT) is necessary foreknowledge.
