Create and modify Reports in Dynamics 365 Business Central

Target group

Application managers and/or key users who are responsible for modifying existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central reports, or creating them themselves. This training uses the Business Central development environment (on-premise) or Visual Studio Code (Cloud), Report Builder and Word. This training is suitable for Business Central in the Cloud as well as Business Central on-premise.

Description

How do you make a new report? 
How do you create the layout for it? 
And how do you include the new report in a menu? 
How can you (interactively) sort the data? 
How does adding a logo work? 
These are topics that are discussed in the training "Reports in Business Central".

We use the Object Designer (on-premise) or Visual Studio Code (cloud) for creating / modifying a data set, the Report Builder (from SQL Server) for modifying an RDLC layout or Word for modifying a Word layout.

Next to covering the theory, we will focus on the practical side of things.

Prerequisites

Knowledge at the level of the course Report layout in RDLC and Word in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC-RPB) is necessary.
