Description

The course covers key topics such as the difference between WMS and WHS, setting up products and warehouses for advanced warehouse management and working with scanning equipment (based on simulation) when receiving, issuing and correcting stock.

In addition, the course covers load and shipment setup, transportation planning, pricing & route planning, appointment scheduling and freight reconciliation.

The acquired knowledge forms a solid basis for the in-depth material that can be taken in an additional course or integrated in this course on a customer-specific basis.

The course includes discussion, review of course material and practice to independently expand your knowledge related to transportation management and advanced warehouse management.

Preliminary Knowledge

Knowledge at the level of course Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 Supply Chain Foundation (X12-SCF) is required. You are expected to have some understanding of warehouse and transportation management concepts and processes.
