Target group

This course is intended for anyone who wants to have a fundamental understanding of the technical background of AX software. For example (technical) application administrators, system administrators, application developers, but also functional application administrators and consultants who want to have more background knowledge.

Description

This course starts by giving an overview of the (technical) operation of the Microsoft Dynamics AX software. Topics covered include the organizational model, the client-server architecture and the layer structure. Attention is paid to creating users and setting up roles and authorizations. After following this course, the students are able to create or modify users in the Microsoft Dynamics AX software and give a user authorization for certain parts of the software. This knowledge is also put into practice in the training. Attention is also paid to some basic business data, such as the setup of number ranges.

This course is also the basis for Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 System Administration (X12-XSA).
