Description
The course covers core topics such as formulas/ recipes, orders for production and bulk filling, batch management, potency and variable weight (catch weight). It also covers supplier management, product conformity as well as price management for commodity products and batch characteristics. Finally, integration with financial and other modules is discussed.
The acquired knowledge forms a solid basis for in-depth material that can be followed in an additional course or integrated in this course on a customer-specific basis.
The course includes discussion, review of the course material and practice to enable the student to independently expand his/her knowledge with regard to trade and production in the Process Industry.
With this course, knowledge can also be gained to use the specific functionality for the process industry for trading and production in other industries.
Preliminary knowledge
- Knowledge at the level of course Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Manufacturing Basics (DO-MP1) is required.
- Knowledge of concepts and processes in the process industry.
