Target group

Application administrators and/or core users responsible for customizing the layout of existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV reports. Report Builder for RDLC layouts and Word for Word layouts will be used in this training. 

Description

Customizing the layout of reports in NAV, is it always possible? 
How can you customize the layout?
How does adding headers and footers work? 
Grouping in NAV reports, and calculating (sub)totals, how do you do that? 
And folding and unfolding groups, how does that work? 
These are topics covered in the training course "Report layout in RDLC and Word".
Reports and documents in Microsoft Dynamics NAV contain by default a layout in RDLC format and some also in Word format. The default layout can be customized from the regular client. As an application administrator, you can (within certain limits) customize the layout of existing reports in Report Builder or Microsoft Word.

The training covers the possibilities of Layout customization in Report Builder and Microsoft Word through practical tasks.

Preliminary Knowledge.

Knowledge at the level of course Microsoft Dynamics NAV Introduction (N18-INT) is required.
