Target group

Application controllers and/or key users responsible for modifying the layout of existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central reports. This training uses the Report Builder for RDLC layouts and Word for Word layouts. This training is suitable for Business Central in the Cloud as well as Business Central on-premise.

Description

Adjusting the layout of reports in Business Central, is that always possible? 
How can you change the layout?
How does adding headers and footers work? 
Grouping in Business Central reports, and calculating (sub-)totals, how do you do that? 
And folding groups in and out, how does that work? 
These are topics that are covered in the training "Report layout in RDLC and Word".
Reports and documents in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central contain a standard layout in RDLC format and some also in Word format. The standard layout can be adjusted from the regular client. As an application manager, you can (within certain limits) change the layout of existing reports in Report Builder or Microsoft Word.

In the training, the possibilities of Layout Adjustments in Report Builder and Microsoft Word will be discussed through practical exercises.

Prerequisites

Knowledge at the level of course Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Introduction (BC-INT) is required.
