If you are one of our customers in the United States, Canada or Latin America, we have news for you. As of 2022, Mprise Agriware will be more active overseas with direct sales activities, whereas before we worked mainly through partners in the area. CEO Joop de Jong and Head of Sales Ronald den Uil just returned from a trip through the United States and Canada. We spoke with Ronald to hear the latest news.

Ronald, you just returned from a trip across the United States and Canada. Could you tell us more about it?
Ronald den Uil: "It was great that it was possible to go there again. Together with Joop de Jong, I was able to visit a number of our customers for the first time in a long time. We were pleased to see that there is such a close relationship between the Netherlands and horticultural companies in Canada and the United States. It's also interesting to see that many of the companies were founded by Dutch families, who have been working there for generations and who are still very used to doing business with companies from the Netherlands. We also noticed that many of our customers in the Netherlands have a warm relationship with companies we spoke with in the United States and Canada."

It's great that there has been face to face contact with customers there again! But what is different now?
"What has changed is that we will be more actively present in the United States, Canada and Latin America", says Ronald. "Where we mainly used to work with partners, we now prefer to have more direct lines with new customers we have across the ocean. We see great opportunities for collaborations and we want to give our customers our very best. Therefore, we have now also established a service desk in the same time zone as the customers in the US and Canada. This service desk is located in Mexico. In terms of implementations, we have noticed that, even though it was by necessity, this also works well online. New ways of working have emerged. We are looking forward to becoming more active in this part of the world. For this we have hired a new person in the team who will focus on new business activities."

How are companies responding to the Agriware 365 product so far?
"We have a very complete product to offer today; the entire Agriware 365 Suite, on the latest version of Business Central and working towards operating from the cloud. With the ERP system, Operations and Analytics, it's a very integrated system. We notice that this is a good fit for many companies. Also, this is now being further developed into a Business Central SaaS, or Business Central Online version. The goal is to deliver this by the end of next year."

What will the service look like for new customers in the United States, Canada and Latin America?
Ronald: "Besides that we have set up a dedicated service desk in that time zone, we also have plans to start forming user groups in North America. These groups will bring together users from similar sectors so that they can discuss the further development of Agriware. Which functionalities are desirable for the future, and what improvements can we make on Agriware? We would like to continue to discuss this with our customers."

In short: we are looking forward to be helping more and more companies in the United States, Canada and Latin America to get started with Agriware 365!
