  1. What do you like to do in your leisure time?
When I think of free time, I think of vacation. And vacation means Italy. That is by far our favourite vacation destination with, on the way back, a week of mountain climbing in Austria. We have already seen a lot in Italy, we love culture. So we visit beautiful cities like Rome, Verona, Perugia, but find it even more fun to visit the many small towns with cozy streets and very good restaurants. I can also relax with a good book. I am an outdoor person and love the spring that is coming up.
  2. What makes horticulture an interesting world for you?
We get to participate in process improvement in a great industry of food production and growing flowers and plants. Food; at young plant suppliers for food production companies. Production of flowers and plants that can still make life special, the most beautiful gift involves flowers/emotion.
  3. What Agriware moment will you always remember?
I'm sure there are several. I always find it special when a customer gives us the confidence to start an implementation together. An ERP implementation is really a ‘core system’ in your organization. So that means a lot when it comes to trust and also makes us feel very responsible for the success. It has been a while since I rode through the greenhouses with a business owner on his golf cart and he asked for advice on how to properly pass the organization on to the next generation. Those are very confidential but beautiful conversations
  4. To which place do you prefer to go on vacation?
As I said, Italy but also Austria, and especially tours at altitude so that you have a view over the tops. That wide openness gives space.
  5. What do you like to watch or listen to? (Music / film / art / books)
I like to read. For example 'Blue Ocean Strategy' by W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne. An interesting book about management and organization, which I also apply in conversations with the marketing and sales team. I like classical music, like to play a little piano myself. Art is a separate chapter. I'm sure that will come at another time :)
