Description
Objective of the course is to offer the participant a summary of the basic concepts and functionality for Process Industry in Microsoft Dynamics AX2012. Topics covered are formula/recipes, orders for production and filling of bulk, batch management, potency and catch weight. Also vendor management, compliance management and price management for commodity products and batch attributes are considered. Attention is paid to integration with Finance and other modules in Microsoft Dynamics AX2012.

This course provides a solid base for more detailed knowledge, to be obtained via an additional course or can be integrated in this course on specific demand.
The course uses instructor lead discussion, course material review, and exercises to help the participant to learn using the Process functionality.

Knowledge obtained from this course will help the participant to decide whether Process functionality for Trade and Production can be used in other verticals.

Prerequisites

  • Knowledge at the level of course Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 Manufacturing Basics (X12-MP1) is required.
  • Knowledge of Process Industry and Trade & Logistics concepts and processes.
